About
About Kram
Mark Gardner—known in the biker world as “Kram”—rose to fame in the 1990s as a leading biker artist. His bold, airbrushed style appeared everywhere from Sturgis and Daytona Bike Week to custom motorcycles, leather jackets, and vehicles across the country. His work was featured in Super Cycle Magazine centerfolds and commissioned by Wilson Leather, making his art an iconic part of biker culture.
Beyond the big names, Kram became known for capturing the freedom, rebellion, and spirit of the road. His art didn’t just decorate bikes and walls—it told the story of the lifestyle itself.
Life After “Kram”
When the biker art chapter began to close, Mark carried his creative talents into new worlds. In the early 2000s, he worked with Universal Studios Orlando as part of the scenic painting team for Islands of Adventure, bringing entire worlds to life. He later partnered with various theater companies, designing, building, and painting sets, before moving into his current role with a prototype company in the Chicago suburbs.
Away from the studio, Mark is still happily married to his partner in crime, Beth. Together they’ve embraced the joys of family life, becoming proud grandparents to a little girl who is the spitting image of their daughter, Kara. They’ve settled into a cozy farm town in Illinois with their loyal dog, Luke—just twenty minutes from where Kara and her family live today.
The Legacy Collection
Now at 70, Mark is opening up his personal collection of original artwork, posters, and t-shirts—many being offered to the public for the first time. This site, run by Mark and Kara, is both a shop and a celebration: a chance to reconnect with the spirit of Kram’s biker art and to share it with a new generation.
